With a fond hope that you had a wonderful holiday season, I send positive wishes for a New Year that brings all you desire from it. I truly value the honor of serving as PIHRA’s 2011 president and look forward to a year of networking, learning and advocating for the human resources profession. My initial focus will be on visiting as many Districts as I can and hearing directly from you how we can make PIHRA an even better value for our members. I hope to meet you soon.
How better to prepare professionally for the New Year than by attending one of our 24th annual Legal Update sessions? We have once again retained an outstanding line up of presenters for the three offerings, in Ontario on January 24th, Universal City on the 25th and Gardena Grove on the 27th. It’s not too late to register and join hundreds of your HR professional colleagues in starting the year off right.
January is also membership renewal month and I ask that you not only maintain your own PIHRA membership, but also encourage a colleague to join with us. I know they will soon thank you for it!
PIHRA 2011 will be dedicated to providing an array of opportunities and resources to broaden your sphere of professional contacts; enhance your personal skills and enthusiastically promote the human resources profession. Please contribute to our success by attending a District meeting, participating in the listserv or otherwise being an active participant in your Association.
